Mr. Raphael Oluwole Osayameh Member, Board of Trustees
A seasoned Corporate titan with over 40years in Banking & Finance, Management, and Investment Consultancy, Mr. Raphael Oluwole Osayameh started out his Banking career in UBA where he rose to the position of Assistant General Manager before moving to Commerce Bank where he became MD/CEO.
His professional career reached its peak as twin President/Chairman of Council of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria(CIBN) and Association of Banking Institutes in West Africa (ABIWA). He trained in foremost Universities including U.I, Unilag, Cranfield, Harvard and IMI (Geneva) among others, and was a Pro-Chancellor/Chairman of Council of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He holds M.Sc in Banking/Finance of University of Ibadan when he was the overall Best Postgraduate Student with the Afribank Prize, Bachelor’s degree in Law from University of Lagos(LL.B Hons), Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB), Chartered Institute of Secretaries/Administrators (FCIS),and The British Institute of Mangement (MBIM). He is a proud Alumnus of Igbobi College, Yaba-Lagos. He serves on many Corporate Boards/Committees including Mobil Oil (11 Plc), MIXTA, IHVN and was founder and first Chairman of Goldlink Insurance Plc.
He is also the Group Chairman of GF Investment Group, Ruthstar Ltd (a Property and Real Estate Company, and Betty Pride Ltd (a Textile/Garments manufacturing Company founded in 1983).
In appreciation of his corporate achievements, he was listed among “Who is Who” in Business in Nigeria, and got the award of Fellowship (Honoris causa) of Yaba College of Technology.
A widely travelled and sociable personality, he is happily married to Mrs Beatrice Olateju Osayameh and blessed with children and grand-children.
